Today on NPR I heard some conversation regarding using old tires for astro-turf of some sort as a re-usable medium. The issue came that as the kids started playing on it during the summer it started to break apart, stick to people, I mean a bunch of freaking nonsense that should NOT happen. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=93364750

Ok people, being enviromentally conscious means testing and if needed thinking outside the box for the types of usage. First thought in the mind of a company is, “How will this impact the user and how is this helping the environment?” Then do some extreme and real testing, without animals.

I’m just dumbfounded by how people let things happen.
