Textpattern Shout Outs and Link Backs

If you didn’t know as of yet, this site was built using open source content management software named Textpattern , a highly extensible and powerful CMS solution. The core of the code when installed gives users the ability to have complete flexibility and control over having multiple sections and categories out of the box. This means it’s easy to build a magazine style site since you can easily attach related articles, create lists of articles or custom lists of articles which means and even the ability to selectively choose where you want to show them! Look at my about page or the other pages to see some ways it can be done. Best part of Textpattern is you can have countless stylesheets and pages for each section but bigger yet you can even control how the pages look right from the writing area!
I have installed so far for testing over 61 Plugins with 33 of them turned on!
So here’s the list of all the plugins I’m using and a huge THANK YOU to the community.

It so happened. About two months ago my wife and I sat there contemplating what we watch and how fast we can get it and how often. After looking at Netflix, iTunes and other available channels we decided, like being on life support, to cut the cable.
We welcome, Google TV to our addition to watch online. We can’t wait to watch MadMen, True Blood and 30 Rock streaming in HD online.
Thank you Internet for giving us the best media selection ever.

Losing the interest in Facebook? You're not alone -ever.

Although I’ve come to see why Facebook is interesting to many, notably getting updates on all 700 of your friends and seeing which is the funniest or worst just to make you feel better. But I really have lost my love for Facebook as a social network where I tell my “Friends” what is going on. First, let’s clear up this whole usage of the word “Friend”. This term is completely reprehensible and would rather be coined “Fiends” because most of the people I see online are ex-workers, ex-lovers, ex-best-friends, ex-wives, ex-family (family of ex-wives) and everyone else is just looking for a “Friend”. They add me then they never, ever, ever say hi. Instead, as Facebook is really well known for, you get stalked.
