Gaia Interactive

It’s interesting how Google Analytics works and how we use the results. Many people wonder about keywords, I wonder, who’s coming in. I mainly look at Service Providers for most of my sites. Funnily enough in one of them I happened to pick up, and actually most recently, Gaia Interactive.

So let me tell you about Gaia. They are a huge site, filled with underage users that play games and live in their virtual world. Imagine Facebook, but everyone is walking around dressed however they wanted, then imagine SecondLife and make everyone shorter and less freaky. I happened onto the site since a while ago I used a similar site to see where Flash and interactivity online was going. I rarely talked to anyone since I was just there for the “UI” and “interactivity” with users and what not. No, you can’t just pick up people and start throwing them, that’s an upgrade you have to pay for. Also, you can’t just get magic powers unless you stay there for a while and hang out with the witch group to get spells. It becomes very difficult, but like SecondLife you trade money for like coins that you can use in their world to get virtual upgrades like being able to throw fairy dust or toss goblins, oh wait, goblins are people too in Gaia! Don’t throw them!

Best yet is the ability to be any creature and dress however you want without being as crude or disgusting as SecondLife, I’m just waiting for the ‘adult’ version to show up so when I walk up to someone and say “Hi” it’s not the cyber-Gaia-police checking out my online ID from teh site that stipulates I’m 1,392 years old – I mean I am Zeus and OLD in comparison to mortals.

So if you have kids or feel like seeing an interactive side to Facebook which is so 1999, check out Gaiaonline.com and see what other fun there is online.
