Aug 14, 2009There’s things that happen in the world like meeting someone, working with them, wondering what they are about and then, poof. They dip. I mean it’s not his fault I just started and I’m locked in a room or under my desk with others. But I learned from this person. I learned that there’s rules man. And you work within the rules to get out of the rules to break the rules you must be the rule breaker because there are no rules, there’s just theories and those can be subjective. Sometimes.
Jordan struck me as a creative thinker. He used to push ideas, work fast, and intelligently, and then I’d see him sit there as if he knew exactly what was going to happen in a meeting -everytime. He’d have a squint or glimmer in his eyes, his posture would change and he’d get ready for it and there it was. I learned a lot about being a director through his body language and his yielding of words. He used them like plastic swords. Not enough to hurt, but enough to say, I can kill you with this… really he can. But he was kind. Or at least to me he was. Every book has it’s story, this is my rendition
Sad to say Jordan is leaving Zimmerman. We’re losing our Batman.
Thanks Jordan and be well.
