The blog war
Categorized under: Web-Design-Articles
I installed ‘The Gallery’; an open source photo gallery project which comes free with Dreamhost, a web hosting and domain purchasing company. In under one month I’m listed on google when searching for Zeus Perez. Fun keywords. Wrong. I use them to see what site climbs the fastest and in what search engine. Building a reputation with online searches -not fun.
So far this is all I’ve done.
1. I bought 4 websites. You will need at least one, preferably two websites.
2. I wrote, added keywords to signature, title and article headers.
3. I wrote some more.
4. I searched google. See, I have this theory that the faster you search terms on a particular page you wrote, the more you make google think, “Hmm… I can’t find anything like this now.” Well, click through 1-10 of the Next links on google’s search pages just for cheerio fun for that term on your site or information. In my theory, Google is curious why you’re so curious about this product. Two days later, search again. So I think the infinite Google googles. It googles all over the place saying, damn, he’s looking for it again. That bastard is making me work for these really weird terms! But I can’t help it! I must look for it! I must find it! GooglePatrol- Launch!!! You enforce the search. This is telling Google two things, “I like you.” and “Do you like me?” Yes, it can easily become a twisted online love affair seeing if you can get Google’s attention.
Are you ‘sexy’ enough for Google to look your dumb ass over? Are ya? Are ya? Milkshake song. I should youTube that stupid song into this f-in article just to see how long it takes youTube to pick my dumbass up on it’s searches. So…
So this love affair has ‘additional lovers’ called CMS, Blogging and Galleries (CBG), if you add to the list ‘live chat’(CBGKC) or play();tm , you’ll be awake for long, long time eating sh0t. And these Googlio lovers have purposes. They f-ck Googoolio well. Some CBG’s do it quicker than others, others just thrust the information right at Google like a blaring sun saying, “Look.”
5. Install WordPress for content. Install The Gallery for photos and quick exposure. XML and RSS are good things to add if you can, though I’m not really liking how they help.
!!aLERt!!
Sometimes these feeds take up your space in the search results that you could use in your benefit.
!!/end aLERt!!
In the next story, “Setting up search engines to sell your related web products easily.”
6. This isn’t really necessary but it can make you money. Subscibe to FeedBurner, LinkShare, Apple, Alloy, Delias, Playboy, iTunes, and a couple other companies to sell products.
See I was told it would take a long while to get listed. It’s not. You’re probably wondering why this matters. .. But I’m tired so I’m going to sleep. hA! Hasta manana.
I need to add pagination to this blog… drat.
