Go figure, that’s what I’ve become. Long time ago I fathomed that InDesign could be used to build rapid templates for web design since it has the page controls and style controls most web sites have. I started building my own set of InDesign web documents and libraries. Lo and behold, here come InDesign Server for web production.

Funny, I sit dormant for a little while and searched on google for zeus perez and lo and behold, facebook took over my top position and now some rampant newcomer has come to attempt to take over my names threshold. Now I have to work at getting everyone off of page one on google. On yahoo, things aren’t so bad, and I haven’t yet checked the MSN search results. So it’s back to me trying to update my blog and more importantly making sure im seo’d.

InDesign page rulers trick so all pages use same settings ·
Go To InDesign Preferences > Units & Increments , Set Rulers Units Origin: From Spread to PAGE!!! This will allow the page to set guides from page to page rather than across all pages, which is really weird to be set as a default. I highly suggest doing this from the beginning when the application is running.

After visiting and reading the best practices intended for making websites as usability driven as possible, it became evident that I did not want to have to download the 216 megabyte PDF file over and over again. Unfortunately a large PDF file can cause users computers, especially mine, to crash when jumping from section to section. In my opinion one of the best offerings comes from Research Guidelines by Importance on their site.
