I was attempting to add some animation using movieclips to the pageflip file created by http://www.iparigrafika.hu/
I thought I had found the answer using thte solution found on http://www.astonishedman.com/Pay-it-forward.php?action=fullnews&showcomments=1&id=1 but it wasn’t really working completely for some reason. Here’s what I did to, using part of the solution above to make the movieclip animations work within the pages.

It’s really sad that email hasn’t advanced to a state where you can add or include more information straight into your inbox. I understand the limitations with getting viruses or really, really bad spam that weren’t intended for you, but email as a web marketing tool is still the same as it ever was -simple information to your Inbox. When will emails get the redesign they deserve?

Ever heard of 2advanced.com? How about mediatemple.com or ultrashock.com? Each of these entities have one thing in common in my opinion, they all met at ultrashock and afterwards used their partnerships and forums to make money by starting side businesses. I feel this is the same concept and it is valid. If any designer thinks he can get a lot of clients on their own, more power to them, but it takes work to keep the funds coming in and getting the word out. And it takes patience, love and more work to build custom jobs.

Today seems unconventionally normal. Work was busy since there’s a lot of projects and questions, but on my way to Publix NPR mentioned Yahoo! and Microsoft. This lead me to thinking about what is the future. How will we produce, sell, and market in this complex and evolving virtual work space? I’ve been doing it for a while and it’s not easy. Design, building, adding, updating, coding, data warehousing, privacy, protection, fraud, sharing, databases, newsletters, emails, traffic, multiple search engine optimization, blogging, photo montages, directories, structure, storage, hosting, maintenance, and wait, you still need to buy a domain. Good luck finding one you like :) and there’s so many new ones like .me . Happy.me. Awesome. Getting an idea finalized takes work and sometimes complexity. Sometimes it’s really easy. So I imagined this desktop software that did what I do. Someone says to me, we need a site we, the client, can do 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 things. I think I counted them all right 1. Spread Nicely. 2. Animate somehow. 3. Extend information 4. Share. 5. Make money. That’s the core principles of most. Some of these may require the addition of some services but we can connect to those easily. You’ll see.
